Pre-K Family Toolkit

The Pre-K Toolkit a part of DC Public Schools Early Childhood Education Division Enrollment campaign to inform parents about DC Public Schools Pre-K program in order to boost enrollment. The toolkit was designed to be a one stop shop of important information for Pre-K Parents like key dates, enrollment requirements, as well as helpful tips on how to support your child the summer to ease the transition to Pre-K. The Toolkit also gave information on the program itself including curriculum, philosophy, and other FAQs. There were both English and Spanish versions. In subsequent years, the toolkit was also translated into 4 other languages to reflect the local communities including Amharic, French, and Chinese. Click to view each pdf.

The 2022 Toolkit got a ton of publicity with articles on WJLA and on Fox 5 websites and a press release from DC Mayor Muriel Bowser. The Toolkit itself got 800 hits in the first week.
